Have you been wanting to try a new medium or try experimenting with mediums you already use? Do you enjoy exploring your creativity and throwing caution to the wind? Then our Collage Mixed Media class is just the ticket for you.
If you are wondering how to do collage mixed media art, we have got good news, there is no one right way and there are really no rules! Each person expresses their own unique creativity and ideas. Each class member’s finished work will be unique to them. This is a great class for relaxing and letting go. We will help you get started with suggested materials and teach you easy and interesting techniques using those materials or materials that you imagine and bring to class.
Beyond simply combining different materials, collage mixed media can also encompass getting creative with what you are using for a canvas, using a mix of 2D and 3D elements and so much more. Creating collage mixed media should be playful and fun. If you think you are not great at drawing, but you are creative, then this is the class for you.
The class will be three hours long and last four weeks. Most of the supplies will be furnished, but you may want to bring some materials of your own once we get started. You will create at least three complete works of art. Space is limited so register soon to ensure your space.
